Happy summer. As yesterday was the last day of school for some, today is the last day of school

for others. Next week on, I think Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, maybe even Friday, we have

last days of school for others in the area as well. So as we're wrapping up the school year,

happy last days of school to everybody out there on the show this morning. The Lions wrapped up their second of three OTA weeks. They're organized team activities. They had three days last week, three days this week, which are Tuesday, Wednesday, and yesterday. They'll have three more days next week before they have their mandatory mini camp the following week.

Then they're off for about a month or so. And then they have training camp. And then, of course, the preseason schedule. And then, of course, we get to the NFL regular season. But during OTAs yesterday, we hear from Dan Campbell, Lions head coach. We heard from offensive coordinator, Drew Pedson. so we'll bring those guys to you coming up in a little bit here on the Michigan Insider on the Big 1050WTCA online at the Big 1050.com.

Big news from Michigan football.

Yesterday, they landed a commitment from top 247 cornerback Blake Jenkins.

He's from Katie, Texas.

He committed live on 247's recruiting site and Michigan beat out Alabama and Texas,

Texas plus SMU in Vanderbilt for the four-star defensive back from Texas.

Big Get and strong work for Janaro Guilford.

Coach Guilford helped make that one happen and played a major role in his recruitment.

Jenkins has visited Ann Arbor already, but he is going to be back for his official visit for Victor's weekend coming up June 19th through 21st.

Last month, Jenkins, Blake Jenkins told the Michigan Insider.com, coach J.G.

and the GM, who's of course, Dave Pellequin, came by and stopped two different times.
